FairwayOS ("App") is operated by Armaan Manji ("we", "us", or "our"). Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

The short version: almost nothing leaves your device.

FairwayOS is designed as an offline-first, on-device application. We do not operate backend servers that receive your personal data.

• Account information: If you sign in with Apple, we receive a stable user identifier, and optionally your name and email (only if you choose to share them). These are stored locally on your device.
• Golf data: Rounds, scores, statistics, shot locations, and club distances are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is never transmitted off your device.
• Location data: The App uses your device's GPS to calculate distances during a round. Location data is processed on-device in real time and is not sent to any server. Shot coordinates are stored locally as part of your round history.
• Subscription data: Subscription status is managed by Apple (via the App Store) and RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase transaction data from Apple to manage entitlements. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or golf data. 2. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
• We do not collect device identifiers for advertising.
• We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.
• We do not use cookies (the App is native iOS, not web-based).

3. How We Use Information

Information stored on your device is used solely to provide App functionality:

• GPS coordinates calculate distances to the green during your round.
• Round and score history power your stats dashboard and handicap calculation.
• Your account identifier enables Sign in with Apple so you can recover your session.

4. Data Storage & Security

All golf data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework, protected by your device's passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. We do not have access to your data. If you delete the App, your data is permanently removed from the device.

5. Third-Party Services

• Apple App Store: Handles payment processing for subscriptions. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: Manages subscription entitlements using an anonymous identifier. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

We do not integrate any other third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• Access: All your data is visible within the App.
• Deletion: Delete your account in Settings, or delete the App entirely to remove all data.
• Portability: Your round recap cards can be saved to your photo library.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
